Justin Moyan

Justin Moyan is a 1965 novel by American author David Weiss (1909–2002), published by William Morrow & Company. It is a biographical narrative that follows the fictionalized journey of a young man named Justin Moyan as he moves from the stage to Broadway

The story begins in 1944, when Moyan arrives in New York with a virile physique, strong good looks, and little experience or a strong voice. Over the next decade, the novel charts his transformation — from training at dramatic schools, taking on bit parts, to eventually achieving stardom. By 1960, he has honed his craft to the point of delivering a “more than passable Hamlet”
