Tales from a white trash Hospital

Addison Clark, a skilled anesthesia provider, returns to her rural hometown after a difficult and messy divorce. Having most recently worked at a major research hospital hundreds of miles away, she figures little Whitville is the perfect place to retreat to and give herself time to recover. That’s the idea, anyway, when she starts work at Whit-Thrash Hospital—known to the locals as “White Trash Hospital.” But from day one, Addie can tell that not all is as it seems in the struggling town and its dysfunctional hospital full of characters with sordid secrets.

With a host of deceitful, manipulative, conniving people—and one particularly aggressive rooster—at Whit-Thrash, Addie has to figure out who she can trust, what exactly is going on behind closed doors, and how to stay alive while finding out the truth. Between the blackmail, naked patient running around, “extracurricular activities” of her coworkers, and disappearing people, Addie doesn’t find much rest. But more importantly, she does find a few good friends—and she even rediscovers herself.
